IM Client Corporate Configuration Options

It would be nice to be able to easily configure the options on all clients from a central location and then lock them down. As it is, we have to create a list of instructions for each user to go through to get their client mostly configured. Other options they can not change such as the emoticons. From a corporate standpoint, emoticons should be configurable from the administrative console. We should be able to enable/disable them as well as change what emoticons are available on the systems. The default group of emoticons contains such unbusinesslike icons like kisses, hugs, flowers, 'pussy', etc. Sadly, we can't even find a way to modify the default set after the install. We can create another icon group on every PC but then have to create a script to modify all the user's options.xml files to point to that group or to set enable emoticons to 'false' if we don't want them to use them at all.Please create a way to push this down from the console (like the disable avatar option). Thank you.
