What other certified configuration with 3rd party vendors do customers want?

Just saw this, Oliver. For our community, Common Criteria security certification would help us. And, though not a certification per se, having a lockdown process that works hand-in-hand with DoD generated STIGs would help as well. I'll be calling to talk about that.

thx

Oh, and another area that may not be a certification, per se, but supports certification for use in gov't contexts -- FIPS 140-2 compliance.

Thanks for the info. We have looked into Common Criteria but it'll likely take some time as it's an involved process.

As of this point, there is no plans for a FIPS-2 compliant Load Balancer. However we have that capability on our high end Web Application Firewall (Model 963) that contains a FIPS HSM card. The WAF also has load balancing capabilities and has many of the same functionality as the Barracuda Load Balancer.
