Has anyone applied this update to the 300Vx? And what was your performance like after the update?

I am concerned about upgrading my 300 to 5.1.0.013

Our unit if fairly new - less than a year old. For the people that are experiencing issues will slowness are they typically older units. I have noticed that a few of the users indicating that their unit is a few years old. Just don't want to have an issue with the unit. We had a 200 that we replaced last year because it slowed to a crawl after an update.

This may or may not help anyone in pulling the trigger but our unit is more than five years old and running 5.1.0.013 without any hiccups to speak of. Average Latency is almost always 3 seconds with the Mail Log/Storage kept under 20%. Browsing the web interface is as slow as it's always been, no slower, even in Message Log queries where I would expect to see amplified effects of any new latency.

An SSH admin interface would be greatly appreciated on my part, especially for Bulk Edit changes. However I'm not sure if other admins want to manage their 'Cuda by way of keyboard input.

very seriously thinking about reverting back to 5.1.1.004 caus looks like update from 5.1.1.006 may not be coming anytime soon...

anyone else having problems or is it just the "two" units in my cluster?

gets slow have to reboot atleast twice a day...and constant "connection refused" messages even though load shows at an all-time low...

reboot and the load goes super high as it plays catchup the all starts over again withen 12 hrs

Hello, have you estimative when release a new firmware version? I have various problems with 5.1.1.006, my units is freezing all the time with this version, and they not permit downgrade anymore.

Thanks.

Why isn't anybody commenting on release 5.1.2.002? They don't even tell you what they fix, broke, etc? Anybody?

Where are you finding those release notes?
The latest version I can see with my Vx300 is 5.1.1.006

They were under firmware upgrade but they have pulled them off. They were only on the page for about 2 days. I guess they are reworking the release.

I have a quite old 300 to which I added extra memory. Still handles mail well, but the user interface is kind of slow.

Processing the upgrade from 5.1.1.006 to 5.1.3.004 on a 300 appliance took just over an hour and a half.
If this is to be expected, I wish the progress indicator was more accurate.

I made the mistake of talking about the large file feature included in 6.0 to my boss last January. He made the mistake of telling his boss. We have been waiting for the 6X release and would love to know what to tell people.
when is it expected to be released?
