We have GroupWise 6.5 and have been using the Barracuda for a few years to protect us from incoming spam. I have a couple of problems though. We are not doing anything with outbound and periodically someone figures out a username and password of a valid user and dumps spam into our send folder - this flags us as being a spammer, and delays our outbound mail as our GroupWise system tries to deliver the mail - mostly to invalid users out in the net - which then puts them in deferred and creates bounce backs. So I would like to use the Barracuda to process outbound mail - but I know that in the past when I tried to set it up, it didn't work. Could someone walk me through the steps to process our outbound mail through Barracuda? Secondly I think I could also get past this problem if I shut down port 25 on our e-mail server BUT I have many people doing imap and pop connections and they still need this. Can they pop and imap through Barracuda? How is that set up?
