We need Yosemite Server Backup for 4 Windows machines, one of the is SBS 2011. Is it true that i can combine an YSB SBS License and 1 Standard License to license all 4 machines for backup on 1 tape drive?
My question is about specific limitations of the YSB SBS edition - just to make sure!

Regards, Martin

The SBS license requires the Master Server to be on a Windows SBS machine. Including the SBS machine, the license allows you to protect 3 servers and an unlimited number of workstations. If you want to protect 4 machines, you have to purchase the Unlimited license. The SBS and Standard licenses cannot be used together to protect 4 servers.

Okay i understand!
Is this only a limitation of the SBS bundle?
Can i for instance combine 2 Standard Licenses on one installation to backup two servers. One remote and the other local on tape?

You can not. One product key replaces the other.
