Is there a way to see the status of quarantined items or how users have dealt with? Ideally I would like to be able to generate a report which would list all quarantined items of a particular period with a status of delivered, deleted or blank if not dealt with. When I view quarantined messages in the message log it dose not list the status as delivered even when I or the user have explicitly delivered them.
Any ideas on how I can go about this?

Thanks
Lorne

I am using a model 400 barracuda with quarantine set to per user (management didn't allow me to go with tagging).

Hello and thank you for contacting Barracuda Networks technical forums.
Currently there is no report for this, but we have generated a feature request to get such activity detailed #bnsf-17786. You can use this reference number in the future to check in with us and see if we plan to implement this feature, and if so when.

the current work around for this would be to setup a syslog server and export your syslog data to this and create a report based on that.

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any way o0n the appliances themselves to see if the quarantined mail has been delivered? the message log will say that a clean mail has been delivered can it do this for quarantined mail?

Hi lorne,

The message log "Delivery detail" should update itself with "delivered" if/when it was ever delivered...

If it isn't , it may be hitting a bug that support could need to confirm.

I'll upgrade the firmware first before I raise a call. Thanks
