I have 3 800's clustered with Firmware
i see 3 places for LDAP config info
Advanced -> LDAP routing and
Basic -> Outbound and
Domains -> Domain Manager -> <one of my dmains> ->manage domain -> users -> LDAP configuration

I have been asked to :
See if it is possible to use LDAP to route mail user@uconn.edu that is looked up via LDAP and determined to be
mapped user@uconn.edu -> user@ad.uconn.edu

All other mappings ie... user@uconn.edu -> user@lib.uconn.edu should be routed as they are currently routed.

My question is, will one of these 3 places allow me to change routing as granully as per domain ?

Advanced -> LDAP routing : Looks to be a GLOBAL setting and will do what i want and more, that i don't want....
Basic -> Outbound : Looks to not handle mail coming in just mail going out....

Domains -> Domain Manager -> <one of my dmains> ->manage domain -> users -> LDAP configuration : seems to be for testing validation of email addresses and NOT actual routing....

Hi angelo,

LDAP Routing is ONLY a GLOBAL option at this time and NOT per domain.. we provide a separate LDAP server configuration here so you can use a centralized server for any recipients you want to route via this feature!
