Hello all,

with version 5.2.6 you've brought us the SIP proxy, which in itself isn't such a bad thing. Unfortunately in real life it's giving all of us some troubles (high load, interfering with traffic).

I'm aware that you're already working on an off switch - but why not make a SIP proxy service and give us some control over it? Let us decide on which IPs it should listen to and therefore interact with SIP packets and on which SIP traffic isn't being interfered with. That system has been working really well with other services on the box (DNS, HTTP Proxy, and so on), why wasn't that considered for the SIP proxy?

Thanks / Br,
