Request applications (firmware release 5.4.x and higher) that are not yet covered by the Barracuda NG Firewall Application Control engine, thus enabling us to constantly improve application control coverage.

For a detailed overview of supported Appliations and Protocols please visit our Application Explorer.

Hello Christian,
* Facebook Video Call will be included in upcoming firmware release
* Usenet is already detected correct, it's a Protocol called NNTP

Hello Ivan,
* there is already an Application available called Citrix. Does Citrix SRP not match into this Application?

Hello Ehsan,

* Puff the Magic is very simple blockable already now: it uses a SSH tunnel for circumventing firewalls. If you need do not need ssh communication out of your network at all, create a application-rule which blocks SSH as protocol (not as application), as destination use internet.
If you need ssh to destinations outside of your network use in the application rule a specific destination, I could figure out 74.82.1.73 as only destination for this toll - but this may change in future.
* Hot Spot Shield is already on our list, partially it is detected as OpenVPN, but it seems to be evasive, especially with newer versions. we are working on a solution for this application.

Best regards

I would request some more games, such as Lord Of The Rings Online, EvE Online and Neverwinter to give different QoS Bands for these and for my downloads ;) I would also be able to prefer LotrO Traffic more then EvE (in case of just mining or botting ^^)
There would be a huge more Online Games, but these would be a nice to have. My recent solution is of cause a matching with IPs and QoS, but what, if Turbine again relocate their servers?

Note: THis is a personal request of mine, not a support one :)

Cheers
Hendrik
