Hello Team,

Whatsapp is there in the Application list but when i block the same on App control 2.0 it blocks the downloads and uploads but doesn't block the actual text messages.

Please add the same in the next release.

I would like to request for the below application to be available.

just for your information, we use on our Firewalls Application Detection 2.0 and block for e.g. Spotify Streaming. Since some weeks the blocking does not work anymore.
The Stream comes from the IP Adress shown in the lines
Name:    sto3-accesspoint-a76.sto3.spotify.com
I think you need to update your Application Detection Database.

Hello Christian,

many thanks for your input. We are already working on the ability to enforce browser agents/versions via firewall rules. I will keep you posted.

Hello Markus,

Citrix (tcp2598) and SAP (tcp3102) should also be detected by AppControl engine.
At the moment only the first connection to Citrix / SAP webinterface is recognized, but not the final connection to Citrix (tcp2598) / SAP (tcp3102).

Regards, Roland

Could you look into adding ShoreTel Communicator (TCP 5447) into Application Control?

Please add recogition of RingCentral traffic in Application control. It's a cloud-based VoIP phone system.

It uses TCP on 5090,5091 as well as UDP high ports. There is also 80 and 443 involved.

@ Joerg Mitterhuber: VMware PCoIP protocol detection was separated and is available as protocol in 7.0.1, 6.0.6. 6.2.3 wil follow with this change.

@ John Smith, @ jimmyHsu: ultrasurf detection is quite hard as this application is really evasive. we are working hard on detection of ultrasurf, current version 16.03 will hopefulle be detected and blockable by upcoming releases. in the meanwhile you can switch SSL Interception on, so ultrasurf will not be able to connect any more in most cases.

@ jimmyHsu: MSTSC Port TCP 3389 is already correcty recognized as protocol RDP (not application). You may need to show column "Protocol" in your application ruleset to create rules on basis of "RDP", also in Firewall Live view this column may need to be shown.

@ Haslinger Andreas: as far as I can see "Razer Synapse" is cloud based storage of configuration profiles of Razor devices. as this is not widespread in customer environments I suggest you to wait for fixing the bug you filed via support case.

Best regards

Certificat CRL
Certificat OSCP (maybe as protocol?)

-> Many applications checks for revoked certificats with CRL or OSCP.
