Students use hotspot shield to bypass the barracuda filters. After some investigation the barracuda identifies the application as Microsoft Update. Please change this.

It would be nice to add:

  • azure-automation.net to Microsoft Services -> Microsoft Azure ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automation/automation-offering-get-startedsee section Network)
  • something gathering OSCP and CLR of certificate authorities, like clr.globalsign.com, oscp.verisign.com etc.

AVG Antivirus Pattern Updates are not detected correctly.

These pattern updates themselves are detected as "Web Browsing" and the .bin and .dat files are detected as Executables. So if you actually want to block executables, all AVG pattern updates are blocked as well.

A working detection of AVG pattern updates would help to configure a separate rule without File Content restrictions.

Ubuntu Update is not sufficient to just do a "apt-get update".

Please add ppa.launchpad.net to predefined application Ubuntu Update.

Hello Manuel,

as far as I can see those repos are not officially from ubuntu. The "Ubuntu Update" application covers only public repositories.
If you have added ppa.launchpad.net repositories by yourself you need to create an custom application to cover those.

Best regards
