Error 205: cannot determine volume from path

When backing up the C: drive of the master database server, 0 files are selected and the log contains the above message. This message only appears when backing up this server.

No messages are in the Windows event viewer other than backup started and backup completed.

This error message is not in the YSB docs (or I missed it).

For a previous issue I had turned on a bunch of debug options. I could set them and post a trace file if that would help. (I actually forgot how to get into the debug settings screen though.)
