Hi All,

I just have one problem with my Master server, and I migrate my data from the old server to the new server.

I follow this KB -> https://www.barracud...60000000IptkAAC and the catalog shows correctly.

The problem is that is not possible restore nothing because the data cannot be show in the library.

So can I explain better:

--- My Old server configuration was:

YSB Installation is in the default path in the C:
I had one external USB drive
I had one Virtual Library named Library1 pointing to the external USB device.

--- My Old server configuration are:

YSB installation is in the default path but in the E:
I have another external USB drive not the old.
I have one Virtual Library nammed Library2 pointing to the new external USB device.

Then the migration proccess that I do was:

1) Copy all the data from the old usb drive to the new usb drive in the new server:
2) Do the proccess described in the KB above mentined.
3) Create the library in the new server pointing to the usb that have now the backup files.

The result was all the catalog, jobs etc was works in the new server.

But I cannot do the restores like I explain.

Anyone can be help me to make the restores in this new server ?

Thx.

You'll need to import the media from the virtual library. If you select the library and then properties, you'll get a new window. One of the options will be media maintenance. On the media maintenance page you'll see the option to import.

Hi Matt, thank you so much by your kickly answer.

I do this but really didnt found the import option, its show all the medias with the status (Foreign, Healthy) but the only options that we have are :

Repair
Associate
Disassociate
Delete

Any other way ?

Thx.

But when I try to associate I receive the error 4425 = The virtual media extent file is unreadable.

Do you know what is this error ?

Marcelo,

I would contact support directly at this point. You can do so via email to support@barracuda.com, or by phone at 1-408-342-5300. They can help you get the backups to your virtual device showing local, healthy and get the import rolling.
