I'm new to the Barracuda appliances and have been very happy. We have the 400 model.We have a device monitoring server that can accept SNMP traps. Does the Barracuda have a way to send SNMP traps?Is there a list of the traps? Can you select/deselect which traps to send?

I ran an snmpwalk of our barracuda, and all it reports is basic network interface stats. I would like like all of the stats on the initial page to be available, so I can have processes monitoring it for things like queue size, latency and load. Having this info available via the api would be acceptable too. Traps would be gravy, but I'd rather have something polling because the absence of a trap doesn't mean all is well...

Has anyone from Barracuda responded to this yet? I would like to be able to monitor in and out queue sizes, queue latency, cpu usage etc. Our particular weapon of choice is Nagios, so any method that can efficiently return a value is acceptable - but most importantly we need these stats when the system is under load, so an HTTP GET is probably not going to work (as the interface grinds to a halt when the server is busy...).

I have requested the same thing via SNMP, but an API would be fine. We get inbound queue backlogs on our 400s. I'd like to know about it before the users start calling.

We have extensive monitoring set up around here but the Barracuda is one of the few boxes we have that doesn't (can't) participate. So, "me too."

Either would be great for us too. We just lost a bunch of mail because the Cuda was caching it and then finally crashed 12 hours later

I'll add another vote. We've had a few LDAP server issues in the past couple of weeks, and only caught them by chance when checking the Cuda for other things. Having the ability to see (and alert on) a rapidly rising "Bad Recipient" count would give us a quick heads-up to this kind of issue.

We are new to 'Cuda and have a 600... We've managed to pull a few things out w/ snmp, but a full MIB would be very helpful. Thanks.
