my customer in case 01615252 wants the following feature.

If the recipient verification is not available - e.g. LDAP server crash (but Barracuda still get a connection)

we want to recieve a notification mail.

If many mails (threshold configurable?) are deferred due to "Recipient Verification Unavailable" we need a notification.

This allows us to respond and avoid problems.

Many thanks

I agree.

However, in my experience, we've yet to be able to determine exactly why the deferrment occured in the first place. Tech support always says that "it's a communication error within your network" and nothing more. On the network/server side, no obstacles can be determined.

In many of our cases, having an option to "always allow" or "whitelist/send immediately" would be helpful.
