We're excited to announce the BETA release of Yosemite Server Backup 10.4.00.  10.4.00 implements support for Disaster Recovery of UEFI boot computers, and includes enhancements and bug fixes for many of the most common issues resulting in support cases.
We've also introduced Scheduled Stop functionality that will let backup administrators schedule a stop time for a running backup job.
The full list of changes is available in the release notes here:
BETA releases have gone through basic testing to ensure no major problems exist, but there is still a chance some bugs could exist.  If you are interested in using a BETA version of Yosemite Server Backup follow this link and enter your information:

I tried to do a disaster recovery with a disaster recovery cd which was created with Yosemite Server Backup 10.4.00.

Sadly the cd is not bootable at all.

The server which I want to restore is an IBM x3650 m4 with UEFI.

Did i do something wrong?

Does 10.4 include the ability to backup ESX 5.5 virtual machines?  10.3 was never able to.  Thanks!

I already installed VMWARE stack 6.0 and now Yosemite backup does not find vmware POWERCLI 6.0. So I cannot make backups anymore..

When will 10.4 version be launched?

Is it with ability to backup ESX 6.0 virtual machines?

In version 5.5 I did backup.
