I have been configuring a new NG F300 Firewall. After doing a Force Activation, the NG F300 would not come back up.

I have tried installing a new installation app on the NG F300, powering on/off, and unplugging replugging to see if the NG will return to its factory settings. Is there a step that I missed?

Thank You,

Connect the console cable to the box. Then open a putty or another terminal emulator. Then turn on the box and during the boot process enter ART:

https://techlib.barracuda.com/NG60/ART

Here you should enter the art menu and start the system recovery option. The F300 isn´t a flash appliance so no additional usb stick is needed

Which version did you have Rev. A or Rev. B ?

Detailed Instructions could be found at the techlib:

The Console Port is on the front side and marked with "Console". With the Box is a console (CAT5 to RS232) Cable shipped. This Cable has to be connected to your Workstation. I am using secure CRT for Console Connections.
