Hi,

I'm hitting a problem when trying to create a VM in Azure using the WAF Vx Hyper-V vhd I was wondering if anyone else had run into.

The error that I'm getting is:

Barracuda.vhd has an unsupported virtual size of 53686272000 bytes. The size must be a whole number (in MBs).

Any ideas?  I've tried searching the Barracuda community and support pages but have come up blank.

Thanks,

William

Hi William,

The Barracuda WAF is already available in the Marketplace in Azure. Here is a link that should allow you to deploy the WAF straight from the Marketplace :

http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/partners/barracuda/barracudawebapplicationfirewallwaf78/

If you're not able to use the image in the Marketplace, please let us know.  We can provide an Azure image (different than the hyper-v image) that can be uploaded into your storage account via powershell.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks!  I didn't think to look in the Marketplace.

Hi William,

You can request a license token after you create the VM or from this link: https://www.barracud...hase/evaluation.

In addition here is the deployment guide - https://techlib.barr...WAF/AzureDeploy

If you have any questions, please email azure_support@barracuda.com.

Thanks,

Jeff
