I have an Exchange 2013 setup with 2 multirole servers configured with a DAG and having the front end services connected to a Barracuda 340 ADC. The ADC is configured with the settings provided by Barracuda but as soon as I reboot one of the servers I have some users having their Outlook clients getting disconnected from Exchange. Outlook will re-connect after approx 20 minutes or as soon as the Outlook client is closed/re-opened. This is how Barracuda support intend to fix my problem!!!
Development team took a look at the configuration on ADC and everything is fine to them. To them this is purely a Outlook issue since new clients are able to connect to the working server. ADC cannot control outlooks behavior. It may be an inconvenience to you to, restart outlook and reconnect but this is not a problem with the ADC.
So, any of you guys had a similar problem and was able to deal with it better than having 500 people close and open Outlook after every node reboot?
