Raghunath,

If you're just trying to get mails from O365 to an on-prem Archiver, just journal directly to it. Check out this link.

I will be migrating (cut over) on premise Exchange 2010 to Office 365.

The customer has a message archiver 150.

My questions are:

-after migration, can the users still access the archived messages

-after migration, how can we decommission the archiver (put all the archived messages back)

Hi Kris,

Users can continue to access archived messages as long as your Archiver is operational. There are no dependencies on Exchange. They can use the Outlook add-in, the web UI, mobile apps or standalone search utilities for Windows and Mac.

If you are interested in continuing to archive messages from Office 365 and maintain a unified archive, contact our Support team about enabling Cloud Relay for your appliance. It's a free service that will securely push messages from Office 365 to your existing appliance. If you want to take the raw email messages out of the appliance, refer to the following Techlib article about enabling direct access to ZIP'd messages: https://techlib.barr.../BackUpArchives

Hi thx for your answer.

But the shortcut https://techlib.barracuda.com/BMA/BackUpArchives, does not provide me with the answer for the question:

-how can we decommission the archiver (put all the archived messages back in to Office 365)

Hi Kris,

We offer the option to export messages out of the Archiver to either ZIP files or PST Files, and Microsoft provides tools for importing PSTs into Office 365. Given the size of the Archvier in question (150) these tools should work fine and I believe that they are free. If you have a lot of PST Files that need to be migrated, we also offer a product called PST Enterprise that can automate that migration.

At present we are using exchange server 2010 our MS is pointed to barracuda email gateway and  mails routed to our exchange server. So far everything is fine .We are migrating to office 365 services through a cut over migration .How  to proceed changes in barracuda email gateway (cloud side).

Do we need to ask MS  provide their IPs just like how we did in exchange sever or is there any different procedure to redirect messages from barracuda to office 365 ?
