Our storage on one of our 450-appliance is reaching ist Maximum value. We have a second 450, which is unused at the moment. Is it possible to connect both appliances and extend the storage this way?

Kind regards

Stefan

Thanks Maxwell for the quick reply!
One additional question: the article describes the federated SEARCH mechanism. Is the only task for me to connect both archivers as described and then the first archiver uses also the hard drives of the second one to store the mails or is it necessary that I add the 2nd one as a SMB/CIFS storage?

The federated search searches both machines whenever you search one. So you will need to redirect the new, incoming mail to the empty device. You can then search all mail on either machine.
