:) I had high hopes for the Spyware 410, as my SPAM appliance is pretty darn good for the price. Not so for the Spyware. Is it just me? Here is a summary:  Content filtering classification is way off. Many sites are classified as Adult or Porn when they are not this at all. We are getting lots of helpdesk calls. I have difficulty accessing Yahoo email through the Spyware device. I can get to the mail, but if I click back and forth on the sent mail, inbox, and drafts buttons, it stops displaying the pages corectly. If I exempt my IP, then it works fine, so I know its the 410 doing it. Worst yet, twice today the 410 stopped passing all traffic except for the 1 IP address that is set to exempt. Even from that PC, the 410 would not display a login page, nor could I get on the 410's console. Had to power cycle it to get it to respond again. This is under a relativly light load. I saw 1 post about log file corruption and needing to do FW updates in passive mode. Is this true?I am running the latest FW. Anyone else having similar problems :?:

We had all the exact same issues until the latest version came out, that fixed about 90% of them. (can't comment on the content filter, we don't use it. have another product for that) now all we have left is the fact that certain websites seem to have issues with the proxy portion of it. The device is certainly making leaps and bounds from where it was a few months ago but I think there are still a few bugs to be worked out. From my experience with the SPAM firewall I think this box has a huge amount of potential but it will be a bit before it starts to show thru.
