Great box other than some serious flaws when running in Transparent ModeRunning Firmware Release 1.1.3. Did resolve many problems, but the log still stalls and can only be restarted by contacting Barracuda support or clearing it. Not really acceptable when it stalls at 3 in the morning. Activity continues, so the only thing lost is trying to see what user was blocked and why.Still multiple wrong hits on "Content Filter" also need method to search for block by (details, ie. PORN, HACKING, etc.) Need alternative method to submit changes to Content Filter definitions since the built-in one does not work when in Transparent Mode.Need support e-mail address that acknowledges receipt of support reguest, rather than having to guess if someone read it.

Thanks for your feedback.We've received many support issues about the log stalling. As a short term fix we've been adding a job to give the process a boot every hour. We'll roll a more permanent fix into the firmware in the near future. It's a very lightweight process so it takes only a second to stop and start. Please contact customer support and we can set this up for you.We're testing out a new tool internally to submit content filtering blacklist/whitelist requests. We need to add more features to the tool, but we'll hopefully release it in the near future. For the current content filter issue where the submit doesn't work in transparent mode, we will take a look at the problem and work on a fix.For the support acknowledgement we'll work with the Support team to see what they can do. When you talk with the Support team please voice your feedback for the Support system to help make the process better.

Yes, all that would be great if I could get someone to respond to an e-mail request, get a person to answer the phone, or get someone to respond to voice mail messages. :evil: :evil: :evil:
