Hi.

This means that spammers have tried to relay email through your Barracuda. The were unsuccesfull because the authentication failed. I have seen this on more Barracuda's of our customers, and  It is always unsuccesfull.

Hope this helps.

Barry

Hi.

I don't know for sure. Maybe it has something to do with Rate Control?

It is the second column of the report before the third column "Blocked : Policy" (I translated french to english, so maybe incorrect ...)

Hi. This is the column called "Rate Control". This means someone or some server has been sending to much email in a period of 30 minutes. This is configurable in the "Block/Accept" tab under "Rate control". I believe in French this is "Bloquer/Accepter" tab under "Contrôle du débit".
