Customer client to site VPN connection authenticates against a LDAP server. Using Windows clients everything works ok.
When using the Linux client however, the client cannot authenticate using his UPN which is 26 characters long.

When logging in as an other user, with a shorter UPN, everything works.
After changing his UPN to 18 characters length authentication works and connection is made.
As it seems, the length of the username, in this case the UPN, is not accepted when the length is longer than 18-26 characters.

When using UPN as login a 26 character login name could be rather common.

Through support I was told that there are "limitations for user names in the VPN client" and I neede to open a FRQ.

Can this limit on the length of a username be raised?

Is Barracuda monitoring this?

Any developments on this issue?
