The support I'm getting from Barracuda is too poor.

Hi Byju,


The issue is suspected to be due to a mis-configuration wherein an additional IP which was configured on the WAN interface became duplicated by the IP automatically obtained through PPPoE on the same link.

We should obtain sticky IP's (to ensure that the account is issued the same IP, every time it authenticates) from the ISP to prevent this issue from recurring.

Initially the support team handing my case seems not experiences nor professional, however in the final stage the issue got successfully resolved by BARRACUDA professional, Mr. Harshan Rajan.

It took a bit long to resolve as it seems the nonprofessional team where not escalating to more experienced / knowledgeable hands or to higher authorities.

Good when you reach tier 3, however it can take some time to get there... :)
