As part of our commitment to providing updated service status to customers and partners, the Cloud Operations Team has implemented a new alerting system. The new opt-in system allows customers and partners to provide contact information to receive alerts whenever an incident is created and/or resolved. The new alerting system is available for all Barracuda cloud services including Essentials, Backup, Archiving, websites, BCC, etc.
For a complete list of services that are monitored by the new system visit status.barracuda.com. Subscribing is as easy as going to http://status.barracuda.com and clicking on the ‘Subscribe to Updates’ button and entering their email, phone number, or RSS feed details to be added to the system. Our customers and partners use Barracuda products to deliver services as services and have asked for more proactive alerts when issues arrive without asking them to go to a web page to see if there is an issue. Doing so allows them to be proactive in alerting their customers rather than reactive to complaints and provides a better customer experience overall. Moving forward you should incorporate this new service into your demos or conversations with customers and partners. The alerting service is live and available now at no cost.
