Hi everyone,

I am publishing my Microsoft Exchange OWA through my WAF and it works out nicley, except... the session is getting disconnectred by the WAF. OWA and ActiveSync keep their session alive for up to 15 minutes, and thus I get forcibly disconnected sessions.

The users notice, that their devices get not update properly and messages like: last update: 18 minutes ago, which means that push does not work properly when the sessions get kicked.

I have searched the campus and checked all menus in the WAF, but where can I define a longer session timeout?

Regards

Jens

The session time out setting can be changed in the service edit window. Basic->Services->Edit the service . The default setting is 60 seconds, so if the session remains idle for 60 seconds, then the connection will timeout.
