Issues activating Backup appliances as a reseller

The last several backup appliances i've attempted to activate for clients have not activated correctly and required at least one call to support. I always select "I'm a reseller and this is for a client" during the activation process, enter the client's info and complete activation as I always have. The units send us one email advising that they are offline, but then they never show up under our list of customers in our Cloud Control portal, and they don't accept our credentials when we try to login to unit locally.

Support always fixes it, but sometimes not on the first try. Clearly there is an issue with the activation process on the cloud control website and it's existed for months.
