We've purchased two Barracuda 440 ADC loadbalancer hardware devices which I'm in the process of setting up. I'm planning on clustering these and would like a little advice..

The devices will sit in our DMZ (192.168.101.X), the same subnet as the real servers that they will be load balancing. We do not have a management network as such so I have plugged the management interface into the DMZ network and assigned IP addresses from our dmz so I can now reach the web interfaces.

If I cable up interface P1 on each box and assign DMZ addresses to these interfaces, is this the port I would use to set up high availability? Can I then assign VIP's to this interface then?

I hope this makes sense!
