I am on same firmware and have not seen any adverse effects in vCenter 6.7 or with ESXi 6.7 on the hosts.

I upgraded to in preparation to upgrade vCenter & ESX hosts to v6.7. Still running ESX v6.0u2. Backups were working fine before upgrading to Since the upgrade I was able to get one backup and the 2nd would hang, then had to reboot appliance then get another backup and the next one would hang. We're working with support to fix the issue but it's a slow process.

I just upgraded vCenter to 6.7 and now I am getting 'error connecting to object'.  Support blames VMWare and says it has firewall ports blocked, which aren't.  Has anyone backed up 6.7?
