I have a BMA 650 physical appliance and running exchange 2016. Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago.
On the exchange side I get the error in the queue "451 4.4.397 Error communicating with target host. -> 421 4.2.1 Unable to Connect -> SocketConnectionRefused:Socket error code 10061"
I checked the networking, firewalls etc, nothing is blocking nor has anything changed.
On the syslog error side I get the following over and over again since it stopped indexing.
- Reload ()
- Stopping the postfix mail system
- terminating on signal 15
- starting the postfix mail system
- deamon started --version 2.0.12
- refreshing the postfix mail system
- reload configuration
and so the cycle continues
Currently 50k mails in the journal queue and climbing.
The BMA is also currently sitting on 98% usage.
Its def the BMA that's not happy and I believe it related to space..as mentioned its on 98% full.
I have reduced the retention period but its not taking effect. Seems like it only happens every 7 days according to the audit logs.
Is there a way to force this?
I've also rebooted the appliance to no avail.
quite often when navigating pages on the BMA it will just say :Temporary unavailable"
I'm in the process of procuring a BMA 850 but its going to take a while still.
Ive lost a few days of archive already now.. Can anyone please assist?
