ATP Scan inconclusive issue

we have tons of mail not delivered to our recipients, due an "Retrying: ATP scan inconclusive" Message.

Trying to redeliver them manually failed with the same message. 

There is a workaround?

I opened a case with Barracuda today and they don't have a resolution to a problem that has been around for more than a year. Sometimes users will scan the same document again and again and one will go through.


Barracuda said to exclude a domain from ATP but we paid for ATP and excluding a domain means you don't just exclude PDF from scanning but everything so that's a no-no.


As far as I'm concerned, that's pretty bad and I'll be looking for a different provider if there is no resolution. My boss asked me why not use Microsoft since we use O365 and our email is in the cloud.
