We've had a 490 and now a 690 for the past 3 or 4 years. My local backup size used to hover around 4-4.2TB. I've made no changes to my backup schedule or retention policies, and I have to manually go in every other week and purge items as the local backup balloons to 7-8TB. It worked fine for years with hands off...just curious how this could all of a sudden become an issue/what to check as it's super annoying.

What is being backed up? Could there actually be significant changes to whatever that is to cause the incremental backups to increase storage that much?

My biggest jobs are SQL databases, and those really do not change much at all; certainly not enough to warrant 2-3TB of growth in 2 weeks. Looking at my logs they've only grown about 1GB in a month.
