I know there is a way to add a footer to outbound mails, but is there a way to add a warning to the body of an email if it is received inbound?

We would like to add a warning to be careful of clicking links in an email if it doesn't originate from within our organization.

Thanks in advance,

John

John,

That would be handled with Exchange. You probably want to use a transport rule.

Hi John,

We have an enhancement request to put this functionality in a future release. The enhancement request number is BNSF-27153. You will be able to see if this has been implemented in the release notes as new versions come out. At this point, we don't have an ETA for when this might be implemented.

This seems to be a popular topic. There are already a handful of topics in the feature request sub forum asking for this, dating back a few years. Hopefully B'cuda eventually implements it as it is a bit cumbersome to do through the Exchange server. However, for the time being a transport rule in Exchange, as Phillip Moses recommended is your best option.

We don't use exchange.   I'll have to look and see if Zimbra has a similar function.

thanks,
