Although I do not think this is a feature request but more a bug, I was asked by support to report this here.


In short: Users are displayed with incorrect rights (admin although they are not)


In depth:

When LDAP is enabled and clicking the "Admin/Users" under the cloud-2cloud backup instance, every ldap-user is listed there as an "account administrator", that is also the reason why it takes ages to load.

However when they try to login, they have no rights unless manually specified under the upper level (home/admin/users).


Although they are not really an Admin, I see no reason why they should be mentioned as such. It is very confusing for our customers, and leads to unnecessary panic reactions.

Not something you want when GDPR and other privacy-topics is all you read about.

There is just no "logic" explanation.




Anyhow, please treat this "feature request" to display the users with the correct rights instead of the wrong ones.
