Hotfix 1017 - Control Center Database HA Synchronisation

Summary This hotfix solves an issue with the synchronisation of the CC database between two CCs in a CC-HA cluster.
Publication date Oct 1, 2019
Type Hotfix
Version 1017-8.0.1-69485391

Size 16.5 MB

Applies to
8.0.1 (CloudGen Firewall)

Description

This hotfix solves an issue with the synchronisation of the CC database between two CCs in a CC-HA cluster. Under certain circumstances, the CC database might not be completely synchronized. In such a case, an HA failover might generate an empty configuration for the Secure Access Controller, resulting in a loss of connectivity of all Secure Connectors.

This hotfix must be applied on both CCs of the HA cluster.

Procedure:

Block the CC services on the HA partner, then on the primary
Install the hotfix package on both HA partners
Start the services on the primary, then on the HA partner
Perform a "Do Complete Update" in the Configuration -> HA Sync drop down menu in the configuration tree tab of the CC
