Outlook Add-In and MFA

I have found that if I have MFA enabled to access Barracuda Cloud Control, I am unable to authenticate in the Archiver Outlook Add-In.

If I disable MFA for my account, the Outlook Add-In authenticates successfully.


I had a support case on this a few months ago but see it is still not resolved in version 5.2.120 of the Add-In.  Any update on this?

I am not entirely familiar with this issue, but I asked around, and here's what I have for you. I hope it helps, but if you need more you may just want to call in to support.

"He should use an off-domain account for his admin account. That will use MFA. Then, for non-admin accounts use an on-domain account and use the Outlook Add-In with that/those account/s"

Also, we track this issue internally with the number BNMA-14199. If you end up talking to a support or sales rep about this you can mention that number to them.
