Couldn't connect to NTP server

hi,

 

i found the errror log in system log like this:

 

Time: 2019-04-17 15:53:32
Module: NTP
Event: ID48302
Severity: Error
Message: Couldn't connect to NTP server: xx.xx.xx.xx

 

i try to use the default ntp server like "ntp.barracudacentral.com" or my local ntp server, but all failed. and i confirm the status of my ntp server and the internet connection are running and working normally. pls help. thks a lot!

 

here is the model and firmware version of my waf:

model: WAF 460vx

firmware: 9.2.1.008 (this version was downloaded from the official website and never upgraded)

Hi Rex,

 

Have you confirmed that port UTP/123 is allowed between the WAF Management path and the NTP server or the Internet (network firewall policy, router and switch ACLs, etc)?

There is information about all the network ports and ranges used by Barracuda WAF here (https://campus.barra...e-installation/).

 

If you have confirmed this connectivity and you are still getting the NTP error, please contact Barracuda Support (https://campus.barracuda.com/support).
