Archiver seems to be out of date

I tried to log into our message archiver this morning and it was unresponsive. I don't remember the last time anybody tried to log into it so I don't know how long it was like that. Had to power it off and back on. It came up ok and seems to be working but there appears to be about a month of missing emails just from a couple of quick searches.



To get it back in sync can I run the exchange integration again? Will that pull over everything from the server that is missing or will it create thousands of duplicates?

It should not create duplicates, so long as you're not using Exchange Integration on a journal mailbox.

You can always call in to support and have them spot-check everything.


It's also a good idea to run a test of any Exchange Import and just make sure that everything looks ok. Just grab a small mailbox or subset of a mailbox before blasting the entire organization.
