Contact form spam has gotten out of hand for us in recent months. Much of it is spammers offing to send messages thru contact forms. We can't block these based on domain or IP since they are coming from our servers. However we are including the submitter's IP address in the message body and now have a list of IP addresses that are known spammers. The question is how to implement this. I understand how to build a content filer, but not sure how to include a list of IP's in one filter. Do we have to build a separate content filter for each IP? Is there a better approach?
