The CloudGen Firewall doesn't run a SIP ALG by default; the SIP Proxy is a slightly different service to a regular ALG, and is disabled in the default configuration anyway. Traditional SIP ALGs generally try (and often fail) to be completely transparent with no configuration, whereas the CloudGen Firewall SIP Proxy is explicitly configured to terminate SIP traffic.

Hello,

We got the question to disable SIP ALG in a ClougGen F80 firewall. In most cases, it's a matter of clearing a box and it's done. However, SIP ALG is not mentioned anywhere in the documentation and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with SIP Proxy.

Could someone clear this up please?
