I am trying to use WAF CloudGen to redirect one website to another.

So far, I have tried to create a rule under WEBSITES --> Website Translations --> HTTP Request Rewrite

New Rule:

- Action:              Redirect URL

- Old Value:        /domain1.com

- Rewrite value: /subdomain2.domain2.com

- Sequence number: 2

There is already a rule with seq. number of 1:

- Action:             Insert Header

- header name: X-Forward-For

- Old Value:       *

- Rewrite value: $SRC_ADDR

- Rewrite condition: *

- Sequence number: 1

This rewrite is associated with a "Website" and it does not work. The online help does not have similar examples.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you show an example of the full URL that you would like to get redirected to? It looks like you are trying to redirect the URI but the values looks more like the domain part of the URL.

Do you want to redirect domain.com to subdomain2.domain2.com ? If so, you should remove the leading "/" from the old and new values. Your old value should be "domain.com(.*)" and new value should be "subdomain2.domain2.com$1".

(Sorry about the delayed response to this post. We had backend server issues due to which replies were not getting submitted.)
