We are using an F80 that is not joined to our domain.  This is a small room that has four devices attached to the F80 on three different ports.  Each device has its own assigned IP address.  We noticed in the F80 history that periodically unassigned IP addresses (not assigned to any of our devices) shows up going out to multiple IP addresses.  this happens on two ports. These IP addresses are sometime within the scope and at other times not in the scope.  We are told that some device must be connecting to the firewall but there is no other device.  All these unauthorized connections from these unassigned IP addresses either timeout or show as unreachable.  Can anyone shed some light for when you do not have any other devices attached to the network how then can these IP addresses be generated?  They are not coming from the 4 devices on the network.

Thank you.

What does the ARP / MAC table say (control - network - ARPs)?

Is the IP / MAC listet there? Does it mention a NIC vendor?
