Right now we do not allow our users to see or release messages that have been blocked. IT has to review emails and release them as needed and as you can imagine takes a lot of time. So using the syslog feature, I was able to identify the blocked messages and display them on a web page. That way the user can see what messages are blocked. Also on that page they can click on a button and request for a message to be released. As it stands now, it can integrate with our in house help desk system. IT staff can dispatch to the "request", log into the Barracuda, review the email and click on deliver. Ideally I would like a way to hyperlink straight to the message from the help desk system. That would cut down on the logging in and searching for the message. I tried using some PERL examples without much luck. Has anyone done this before or know if it is possible?
